But does it max out in 4k?

I don't even understand what you're asking here. What do you mean by "does it max out?"

Wouldn't that card max out every game in 4k?

No card can max out all games in 4K, hell, no 2 cards in SLI/Xfire can.

Yeah, no. Whatever gave you that idea? Hell, even quad Titans won't max "every" game at 4k acceptably.

I've got this hunch that you have no idea what you are really talking about.

There is no card on the market right now that will max out new games at 4K resolution settings.

There exists card(s) that you can use to run modern games at 4K resolutions with medium settings, but even then the framerate is going to drop when the game is in motion.

To sum it up, you'd need multiple GPU's totaling over 1000+$ together to run games at medium/high (NOT MAX) at 4K with a framerate of 30 - 60.

Don't seriously get a 4K monitor in the hopes that you will be playing games at that 4K settings, we just aren't there yet in the hardware.

It kinda is if your playing any game which involves you aiming, firing, racing, or reacting to something.

I'd be fine with 30FPS playing Divinity: Original sin, Final Fantasy whatever, Eve Online (assuming the GUI wasn't also in 30 FPS), or some dialog based story game.

Has more to do with most engines being unable to fully utilize all four cards.
