I want a 3.5mm Male to Female Audio Cable right?

I think I have a 2.5mm one right now. I want the one that works with headphones with mics built in / basically whatever a phone uses these days.
Whatever I have doesn't work right and I only get one channel if I have it plugged in all of the way.

We need to know: What headset your trying to plug into your computer.

3.5 jacks are the normal stereo jacks that computers use, 2.5 was more of a early cell phone deal. I don't see them around at all anymore.

I guess that's not it then.

I think it's more of an issue that my current connector is only TRS and not TRRS like almost all of my headphones.
