where can I get this system? (us)

Hello! Just wondering where I can get one of these, and the possible price of the system.

Also, are there any reliable clones that companies are making?

Any links/help is appreciated.

Just the console? 50 bucks.
If it comes with everything (TV hookups, controllers, adapter), I'd say AT LEAST....85.
I don't know if it works on an American TV. However I do know some owners will mod the Famicom to work with AV cables before selling it on ebay.

Thanks a lot for your help. I have been playing famicom games via a homemade connector from gyromite. Trying to decide if I should get a famicom plus this or a Super Famicom, and start getting those games.

Do explain what you just said a little more. You've intrigued me.

How to make it. ^

They are found in some of the old NES games. This will not work with most of the games, mostly found in Gyyromite, not exclusive though. It seems like they are found in the older versions.

How to figure out if it has a converter. ^ The connector on the bottom tip is 100% the best to my knowledge.

Very nice way to get a free famicom adaptor, but very rare to find. Good luck, would be sweet if you had a lucky Gyromite.

I hear that stack-up has a 100% converter, but I'm pretty sure that game is so rare youre better off just buying an adapter over ruining that game.
