So is the photofast the go to sd to mspd adapter. I see this one on newegg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812189220&Tpk=mspd%20to%20micro%20sd%20adapter

and a review says it supports dual 32gb cards in it. Does the photofast do the same as well even though it says it caps at 16gb?

Does it matter what adapter I use will it bottleneck the sd cards or use whatever speed of whatever class cards I put in it?

Hmmmm..... I never used that one before. But do be careful though with photofast. I have bought over 10 from Amazon and none of them worked. I got this one:
http://www.amazon.com/MicroSD-MicroSDHC-Adapter-Converts-Cards/dp/B001RPEJA4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336454681&sr=8-1

And not a prob with it other then cracking. Plastic is thin, but noting a Sharpie marker and some crazy glue couldn't fix. I running 2 64gb cards on it, and it's working great.

Just out of curiosity, what's so bad about getting a cheap/generic memory stick? I've definitely learned my lesson with batteries, but as far as sticks go, as long as they can hold the amount advertised, what else could be a failing? I'm not terribly fussed about how long transfer speeds are, so if that's really the only downside, I'm seriously considering getting a cheapie stick.

Educate me, GameFAQs! :D

1. Transfer speed
2. They might not hold close to what they are supposed too.
3. They can go corrupt at any time and you loose everything on it.

Before I make a new topic, I might as well ask here:
I need to buy a bigger memory card for my PSP so I can buy more games. Will I be able to just copy the entirety of my current memory card to my netbook, then put in the new one and copy everything back, or will I need to re-download every one of my PSN games and demos again?

I'm using that, but a 8GB version, It worked great for a few days, and now today, its saying load failed on PSP2, i tested loading other games and they work just fine.
I noticed that the saved data on the Sony Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX 8GB is only displaying 5XX KB, where as my original stick says 640 KB. What the hell? Is that why its corrupting or not loading?
When i got the 8GB a few days, i used a Sony Memory Stick Duo Adaptor to copy in to my computer from the original stick, then to the new 8GB stick. Going back to the original stick, it loads fine, but the new now won't load, it did so for 3 days.

Anybody know whats going on, or can help? I really don't want to lose 3 days of playing. :(

I just bought one from here :

http://www.ebay.com/itm/220748286072?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619

Yes from ebay but, prior to this purchase I have purchased a 64GB San Disk micro SD card for my Samsung Galaxy S3 from the same vendor and came away very impressed because I firmly believe its a genuine product since the read/write speed was really fast and the packaging is nicely printed.

As for my Sony Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo HX 32GB MAGICGATE, it worked like a charm and the transfer speed for my videos and mp3 files to the stick was noticeably quicker than both my normal 1GB Sandisk and 4GB Sony Memory Sticks.

I hope what i got was the real deal, because it's reading as Magicgate unknown status.

Well either way it works pretty well.
