Hi there! I'm trying to install the cross repair mod, and am supposed to put my new .esp file in the fallout3/data folder. Problem is, there is no /data folder once I get to the fallout 3 folder, nor is there any (ANY!) .esp file on my computer at all besides the one I just downloaded. What the heck is going on? For what it's worth, I got the game via steam and have Windows XP. --- Go Gators!

double check that your copy of windows is set to display hidden files and all file types
Also, more info- I go to the "Data Files" option on the firsts creen when you start the game, and it says that fallot3 is a .esm file. I searched for .esm and got nothing, as well. --- Go Gators!

Yeaaaah, things'll be a little different since you have it on Steam.. I have a feeling it'll just run the ESPs out of the packed GCF file. You could try creating the Data folder and dropping the ESP in there, or... you could be boned. --- http://twigfigure.devfiles.net/gamelist/ - updated 25/05/08 Board 580017: Dark Tower. Be there.

hmm. if that's the case then you should probably try again with your monitor turned off. peripherals that output information using braille are more effective at recognizing files than window's settings for monitors
