I don't know if there is a dedicated board for this sort of question, so since this is the game I'm concerned about using such a device with, I'll ask here. If I had a gameshark, would I be using the codebreaker code list? Or does gameshark use it's own system? Same deal with Action Replay, I don't know anything about using the devices, so I don't know where to begin as far as how to look up what codes to use depending on which device I buy.

On a related note, which device would you recommend?

an AR is an AR, a CB is a CB, but a GS could be an AR or a CB depending on what model GS we are talking about.

the old GSA is the old, outdated model of what is now the GBA AR, and can be upgraded to an AR with the newest AR software.

the GSSP uses CB codes.

anything that ain't capable of using AR codes sucks.

ARs are the only cheat devices you should ever let come in contact with your games.
