Anyone still have the wireless adapter that came with the game?

I dont have Fire Red anymore but I still have the wireless adapter thingy. Last week I was digging through a plastic storage tub to look for stuff and I noticed that I still have the wireless adapter thingy for the Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf green games.

Man that brought back memories of doing alot of trading back and forth

I have it, plus another one I bought from GameStop. By the way, is it just me, or is the wireless link really unstable?

I got it new, but it was the player's choice edition and didn't come with the adapter.

Even if it was a "players choice" it should have come with the wireless adapter.

No, it shouldn't. It only came bundled with the first version of the game.

Notice on the back of the player's choice how it says both link cable and wireless adapter are sold separately.

For those who do have it: how is the communication speed, compared to the link cable?

I think the communication speed was just fine when using the old wireless adapter.

Honestly though anyone who bought a "players choice" version later on it should have come with the wireless adapter. Im one of the first time buyers who got the first release of Fire Red which the wirelerss adapter was inside the game box to begin with anyway

New copies of the game range from like $150-$300. Sucks....
