Planned team... any tips?

I'm wanting to try a certain team, wanted to get some tips before I get too focused into it...

Blastoise (starter)
Jynx (been using Kadabra and Hypno too much)
Electabuzz (I liked using him from G/S/C)
Arcanine (Same)
Rhydon (Alternative to Graveler)
Aerodactyl (Not Pidgeot of Fearow)


I'm mostly doing it this way because I want to avoid the dozens of Pokemon I've always used in R/B/Y... And I don't like putting Legendaries into my teams...
any advice on abilities/replacments?

I don't think you have to worry about this when you can just powerlevel everything in this game.

But I would change Arcanine for Rapidash, because Horses are cool.

The only thing that would really bug me about using this team is that you don;'t get a lot of them until fairly late in the game. None of the pokemon themselves are bad, but your team will be a bit empty for like, the first 2/3 of the game

Yeah. If you have a cheating device, spawn those pokes at the beginning of the game at your discretion. Nobody will talk s*** at you for it and it'll make for a much more enjoyable experience.
(but spawn them unevolved of course) ^.^
