I'm confused about correcting Missy-D and Sneasal; they're both found in LeafGreen only. I've checked both Serebii and my own LG file, unless I'm missing something...
the correction is not that they are present or not, it was about their names. they were spelled wrong.
The Name Rater is there because not everyone has played the original R/B/Y, which is alright. It's also asked every once in a while, so...yup.
Like the Name Rater, not everyone knows about how to get the Bike. I've never seen this asked before, until today...http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmessage.php?board=918915&topic=39230383
yeah, I was just thinking about the "differences" think when I wrote that, and din't realize it was not part of the differences part, but something that needed to be put in a section so readers would know about it. I agree with u 100%
I didn't mention Lucky Punch, Metal Powder, and Stick because...is it really needed? No offense to these pokemon, but they're kinda...bad.
still they were worth mentioning because, like the Thick Club and the Light Ball, they are items that can be attached to Pokémon to "increse" their stats, good or bad --- Pokémon Master: I'm in the No-Breed Group... mess with me at your own risk! | Regarding the Diglett's Cave/Route 11 thing for catching the legendary dogs...should I be worried if I've used over 50 Repels and not found a single sign of them yet? |
| That would be what people would say unlucky. Just keep trying. --- If con is the opposite of pro, then what is the opposite of progress? |
| I saved before I tried it so should I just shut it off and start over so I don't have to buy more Repels? |
| very very nice. and congrats on getting stickied so quickly. it took 7 months to get my topic in pmd sos boards stickied under the old system. nicely done. --- something witty this space comes. pmd rescue team trinity member rescue code: (blue)Y7H4Y+ or (red)5RQ?W(...) |
| I chose Bulbasaur so I'm supposed to be able to find Entei in my game. Is Entei supposed to appear during the effect of Repel? I'm wondering if that's why I'm taking so long to find it. Am I supposed to get into a battle after Repel wears off to find it or something? I'm just really getting impatient, I just want Entei so I can restart the game and choose Squirtle to get Raikou next time. |
| Entei will appear if the Pokemon in the lead of your party when repel is in effect is lower that his level. --- Unofficial Something of the PFRSB |
| AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH! No wonder! I've been walking around with a level 70 Nidoking in the lead! Sheesh...thanks for the help though! Now I feel like a complete dork for wasting my time before I learned this. |
| Wait...I'm having more trouble and I don't really mean to be such a pain but here's what's happening: My Fly learner is a level 13 Pidgey and when I use it in the lead, even during Repel's use I encounter wild Pokemon, only the screen doesn't do the normal battle transition, it does horizontal bars pulling apart. At first I thought I'd encountered Entei because of that, but the music wasn't different and sure enough, it was just a level 11 Drowzee. But when I put my level 35 Meowth in the lead (for Pickup), I encounter nothing at all during the Repel's effect. Am I just the unluckiest person in the world? I mean, not that it's hard to believe if I am. But is there something else someone can recommend? I just want this to be over and done with, I'm using my Master Ball so once I encounter Entei, it's as good as caught. |

Repel repels pokemon below the leading pokemon's level.
Since the Pidgey is at a lower level than Drowzee (you got the levels wrong, didn't you?), the Drowsee won't be repelled.
Since the Nidoking is at a higher level than Entei, Entei was repeled.
It's really that simple!
As for the meowth, there's a very simple explanation:
You're being unlucky.
Let me repeat that in bold:
You're being unlucky.
And contrary to your belief, whining is not a way to fight bad luck as we've already covered all the basics.
So less whining and more trying, k? --- gbchaosmaster |
