Is SNK Ever Going To Release This On The North American PS2?

I read something online confirming that it had a 2010 release. But I can't seem to find that article anymore.

Anyway, I think that SNK should release this game here and at a budget price. They're not doing that well anyway, so they might as well release some "quick buck" projects and at the same time make us fighting game fans happy.

If they release a US version then they better add in a lot more modes, the game was already very unbalanced especially with the hidden characters and cheap bosses playable, and there was very little to offer other than a Survival and gallery mode as extras.

I own the Japanese and PAL version and they were more or less the same, with little no no extra modes, just Arcade, VS, and Survival, and a Gallery mode, with little to nothing extra to offer. Not worth the money and time I sacrificed for it.

Example of AvP co-op gameplay:

What if they did though. I think if they actually do make a SVC chaos 2 they should make it w/ King of Fighters XI graphics, and add characters people are more familiar with. And they should put a storyline and a few more characters, stages, and better music. I believe SNK can do it if they take their time.
Characters i would like to see:
Capcom Side

Karin Kanzuki (SFA3)
Kairi (street fighter ex3)
Dee Jay
El Fuerte (Street Fighter 4)
C.Viper (Street Fighter4)

SNK Side

Malin (KOF 2003)
Jhun Hoon
Elizabeth (KOF XI)
Ryuji Yamazaki
Benimaru Nikaido

I think SVC Chaos needs to come out in some way shape or form for North American PS2 or PS3 owners.

Be it through an enhanced port on PSN or a direct port of the PAL version.

Given that the US Xbox version didn't do well, I think a PS2/PS3/PSN port is out of the question. And forget a sequel. Both companies would make more money off of a CvS3 than a SVC2.

Neogeo Battle Coliseum is the game SVC should have been. Now that's a game we need a sequel to.
