There is no way that any of us could harness the Kyuubi long enough to take it to the core.

Edit: If we take the Kyuubi down (where are the other bijuus, anyway?), the scorpions would swell with power. Pretty convenient how the scorpions suddenly say the Kyuubi has to go to the core when the nations are at their weakest militarily.
