I'm creating a zombie theme story mode map but I'm trying some strategies like having hem spawn right before you turn a corner or have them all attack at the same time down a narrow corridor in conjunction with spawn when location is reached logic but their all too slow. Some of the zombies in challenges and arcade league were MUCH faster. How do I make zombies faster? If I can't, is there by any chance some fast undead (other than Dearhaunter)?? If it takes them 5 seconds to reach you they're not scary lol. Lastly how do I make them spawn without that blue stuff. I have the lights go out and the player surrounded by about 10 spawning zombies simultainously but even though the lights are turned out, I can see the spawning. Making the whole surprise of it, futile.
In summary (For the TL;DR users):
1. Is there a way to make zombies run faster in MM? 2. Are there faster zombies other than Dearhaunter? 3. Can I turn off spawn lights. I'm not totally sure, but :
1. yes, but consider it as a no because it isn't very exploitable
2. I doubt it, otherwise I wouldn't use the deerhaunter that much
3. from what I remember you can turn the sound off but not the light.
it looks like the best solution is to improve the level design, and maybe give guns to some zombies.
To AH. thanks for the help, I just wanted to make sure all my bases were covered. Full response in other topic... To IRY, I know what you mean, I end up using the DH so much now lol and giving guns to any of the zombies except Gilbert and a couple of the DHs would defeat the purpose of my level.
