I hate when they list system requirements like this, they just list the lowest hardware itl run on and just put in the newest available hardware for maximum required. In reality im pretty sure you wont need all those absolute top of the line hardware to run it properly on maximum settings =.=. I mean seriously, for processor a i7 3930K 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ and FX8150 8 Core x 3.6 GHZ wut?, im pretty sure the game wont be needing those at all..
And for video card a 680 and 7970 lol again wut?, im pretty sure a GTX560ti/570 will do fine even.

Unless this is a steaming pile of unoptimized *

Yeah GTAIV was a horrible mess with optimization so incredibly poor that it was like they didn't even bother, something Rockstar has had a bad habit of over the last several years. MP3 could be the same case.

The "specs" listed were more like a list of what's supported.

Looks like its just a list of whats supported. They posted this on facebook

" Hey guys, to be clear these are a range of specs and the game will look great on anything that's listed. Also, yes there's a 35GB install, between the epic multiplayer modes, the single-player story, and all the graphics fully optimized for PC, this is a big game get ready!"

I read on Kotaku that the PC running on Low will equal console visuals. Those 35 gbs are well worth it gentlemen. And yes, this is just a list of everything that is compatible with the game, not minimum+recommended.

It's for the 2k textures mostly. Uncompressed, it would be about 1 TB like RAGE was before compression.

Guys, it's just a range of spec the game is supporting, these are not the "recommanded specs"
