Is it ever explained how the Jedi Exile got ahold of the Ebon Hawk? (spoilers?)

This has been bothering me ever since I got this game the week it came out. I mean, it's weird to for the developers to just put your character into the starship from the old game without explaining how the ship got there or how the ship got beat up like that.

Also, in that tutorial in the beginning when your controlling T3, who's the one banging the door from the inside of the HK-47 storage compartment? Is it HK, Kreia?

Maybe I just missed it somehow during the five playthroughs I have done.

These aren't the droids you're looking for...

It's an HK-50 I believe.

The Ebon Hawk was used to escape the Harbinger.

Kreia got ahold of the Ebon Hawk and used it to track down the Harbinger.
The Exile was taken aboard the Harbinger to be brought to Telos.
Atris had arranged this and then subsequently leaked the information to the Sith in order to attempt to expose them.
While aboard the Harbinger, an HK-50 unit discovered that the ship's mysterious passenger was the Exile, so he arranged for her to be drugged during a routine exam.
Kreia then intercepted the Harbinger during a Sith attack and made off with the Exile.
During the battle it seems that the Ebon Hawk was severely damaged, with Kreia herself becoming incapacitated and the HK-50 unit locked in the storage compartment.

It is also possible that Kreia herself fought and defeated the HK-50, locking it inside the storage compartment, and then went into a healing trance (or a fake healing trance - who really knows) while T3 repaired the ship and made it to Peragus.

The answer can be insinuated through the many tidbits of information the game gives you.

Depending on the gender of Revan, Carth/Bastilla was very worried about what was happening with Revan's fight against the True Sith. After waiting seemingly an endless amount of time, they gave T3 a mission: Find Revan. And if you can't find Revan, find another Jedi. Hopefully this Jedi will know or be able to help you find Revan.

CONTINUED FROM LAST POST

Eh I kinda left that open ended for interpretation.

Anyway, T3 takes the Hawk and finds the Exile, and (it is not clear if this was on purpose or not), Kreia.

Johnny has it just about right.

But there was a bit left:
Kreia had the Hawk, I don't know how, she just did, but then the Sith attacked her and it was left drifting in space. Carth Onasi (if he's still alive) ordered the Hawk be picked up by the Harbinger. After they had gotten the starship, the Sith infiltrated the Harbinger to kill the Exile who was by then drugged, and was taken by Kreia onto the Hawk where the HK followed, as he was an assassin for the Exile and Kreia got knocked out or in a trance and HK was in the compartment

Though one thing they never answer, if it was HK-50 in the locked compartment, then how did HK-47 get there? Because if it's actually 47 in the prologue amidst the flames, then he would have been blasted apart by T3 and then HK-50 would have no part in the story

Basically the existance of the original HK cancel out the 50 and vice versa, it's a very confusing part of the story that would make sense for it to be onboard

It never explains how the Exile knew about the Shadow Generator and the droids ready to activate it/shut it down however while he was inside the academy.

Man, I totally forgot about Carth's message. Okay, here is a revised 'timeline' of sorts.

1) The universe is created.
2) Sometime later, T3-M4 takes the Ebon Hawk back into Republic space.
3) Kreia finds the Ebon Hawk somehow and later learns that the Exile is aboard the Harbinger.
4) The Harbinger is on its way to Telos, escorting the Exile who has returned to the galaxy at large.
5) Atris had arranged the Exile's return, and subsequently leaked this information to the Sith in an effort to expose them.
6) A Sith vessel commanded by Darth Sion, attacks the Ebon Hawk. The Ebon Hawk sends a distress signal which is picked up by the Harbinger.
6) Admiral Carth Onasi orders the Harbinger to investigate. The Harbinger searches both vessels, but finds no one except the supposedly dead body of Darth Sion. They discover T3 aboard the Ebon Hawk, as well as several corpses.
7) HK-50, posing as a protocol droid, discovers the Exile is the Harbinger's mysterious passenger and arranges a routine medical exam for her. During the exam, she is drugged and sealed in a cargo hold. HK-50 also intitates a devastating cascade failure in the ship's commo, weapons, and engine systems, leaving the Harbinger crippled.
8) Darth Sion awakens. His Sith assassins, having infiltrated the Harbinger, begin murdering the crew.
9) During this chaos, Kreia and T3 manage to get aboard the Harbinger and rescue the Exile.
10) The Ebon Hawk flees and is nearly destroyed by the Harbinger before jumping to hyperspace.
11) Unbeknownst to Kreia and T3, HK-50 also managed to sneak aboard the Ebon Hawk.
12) T3 fixes the Ebon Hawk and docks at Peragus. HK-50 manages to break out of the storage compartment and attacked both T3 and 3C-FD, disabling both droids.

Sound about right?

The only thing that is bothering me is did Revan take apart HK-47 or did the HK-50 fight him off to and destroyed his parts?

KOTOR. Most game ever. xD
