Game should be Uncensored

I mean you can pretty much bathe in blood so they might as well reveal the goods.

Except that bumps the game up from M to AO, which is a complete death sentence for any game that wants to have any meaningful sales at all.

Why the interest, exactly? Nothing wrong with getting off on computer generated graphics if that's your cup of tea, but if you don't get to see actual nudity or sex there are plenty of other places to see both, right?

By the PC version and you'll have nude patches/skins within a day, if not hours.

Well yeah but its unrealistic that while two people are engaged in love making that it involves wearing clothes. The Witcher was uncensored (eventually) plus its the Dark Ages ya know? I just hate borders to be honest.

Oh? I agree that sex is *usually* done in the buff, but if there's one area of human endeavour where you really can't rule anything out, it's sex.

I never liked the idea that you could slaughter off an entire city of people in video games, but god forbid they show you having sex. I know a lot of people hold the position of "Who gets off to video games? That's weird." or "If you want sex, you can get plenty of it on the internet."
Well, come on, people. This would be a tremendous addition, especially to rpgs, and you know it. You know exactly what I mean if you've ever played Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines. It's very entertaining and aesthetically pleasing to build a relationship for your character with some npc, then...take things further. Not to mention, it would be great for those gamers who aren't so lucky, sex-wise, in real life. Then there's the people who cry "rape simulation!" claiming the game will encourage the players to rape or molest. Bull****. Statistics show that the better a game simulates a certain crime, the further that crime decreases in real life. So hell, why is it so morally wrong to let certain people live out their fantasies in a video game if it prevents harm irl? Such is the genius of the backwards morality of the modern people.

Can't say that I do, no. Most video game companies don't want to be associated with that sort of thing. You can cry "art" as much as you want, but two people having uncensored sex on screen is porn any way you slice it.

The "fade to black" screens from BG2 were enough for me.

Again, there are other forms of media for this that won't completely cripple the game's sales.

I can easily believe that video games have no influence on crime. It'd have to be a convincing study for me to believe that video games actually decrease crime. If there's a correlation then there's absolutely no causation.

So hell, why is it so morally wrong to let certain people live out their fantasies in a video game if it prevents harm irl? Such is the genius of the backwards morality of the modern people.
It doesn't prevent harm. That'd be idiotic. And you're right, it isn't morally wrong. I doubt anyone here is making that claim. It's just gratuitous and unneeded. It lowers what little artistic value this game is likely to have.

I can see your point Zozma, you don't really think its necessary and thats just not what you look for in a game. To me games will never truly evolve unless they offer the same level of what movies offer. I'm not saying they should show everything off the bat like male sex organs and vaginas. (Porno style)

But certainly they can make softcore sex scenes with breasts.
