Bobhead's Guide to EVs and IVs

When your poke evolves, do the EV's reset for the new evolution, or do they remain fixed and potentially maxed on a weaker stage?

Nope, EVs carry over from previous evolutionary stages.

so does that mean that EV's aren't calculated into the stats until level 100?
#54PiperStarfireGilmorePosted 5/26/2007 7:44:21 PMmessage detail
They're constantly being calculated into your stat, which I could've sworn the opening posts said, but I can't seem to find it ;>_>

But yeah, they're always affecting your stats, even at Lvl 5. They're just adjusted to your level from the stat formulae.

all right, I just killed an aggron with the macho brace on. According to the chart on this site, I should have yielded 6 points, which would equate to 1 point added to my stats since for every 4 ev you receive, you are supposed to get 1 on level up, but I wound up with 0 at level up...what's the deal. The EV's are NOT maxed yet.

^ same question. EV trained in SP.Atk recieved 8 EV points but +0 on Sp. atk when I lvld up
You may have the better car, but i'm a better driver

Again it's adjusted based on levels. If you dont think it works give a pokemon un EV trained, 10 vitamins in a Stat, and over the next few levels if should get major advances.
