A new topic part two

And we're off! From the last topic

When you are preparing keep trying to go over the questions that they will almost certainly ask some variant of:
- Team working EG;Can you give us an example of you working successfully in team environment?
- Communication Skills.
- Organisational Skills/Time Management.
- Why did you apply/What is your relevant experience?
And if it is a public sector job there'll be something about equalities and diversity. Basically just say in your answer that you aim to treat people how they wish to be treated.

I've been told 4 areas which I'm being asked questions on (teamworking, working with customers, developing self and making the best use of resources). I'm going to have 2-3 examples for each. Thanks for the advice by the way, much appreciated.

And also - I'm jealous of you going to Vegas. It's one of the those places I'd love to visit and not even grusome murders on CSI will put me off. I would have to take some money to lose at the routlette table.

That's good that they've given you some things to prepare on. Just get them straight in your head and play it cool.

Vegas really is quality and I would recommend it to pretty much anyone. Doesnt matter if you lose a bit over there either because if you are playing the machines or the tables then all your drinks are comped to you. They literally have women coming around and giving you drinks 24 hours a day, so even if you end up down you've still drank for free all evening.

It's not to expensive to get out there at the moment either. There is 12 of us going at the moment but we all booked separately, my brother and 2 of his mates got a week in a triple room at Ceasars Palace and direct flights on Virgin for about 400 each. My room was a bit dearer because I went for the 'Roman Love Tub Room', it has mirrored ceilings and a massive heart shaped jacuzzi, but still no where as dear as it was last time we went. I think they are being credit crunched quite hard.

Here it is in all it's tackiness:

Got a big day ahead of me tomorrow as it my brother's birthday. Meeting at 10ish for breakfast, getting to the pub for 11 onto the ground for 2, watch the game, back to the pub, down to a few bars near where we live to meet everyone else then onto The Venue, South East London's premier cheesey nite-spot, for some drunken carnage. Think I might be pulling a sickie on Sunday and possibly Monday....

40 League goals to go until I would consider pissing on Adebayor if he were on fire. 16 games left for him to do it.

Well last night's expected carnage didnt arrive, I blame Arsenal's dismal showing for knocking the enthusiasm out of us. Somehow I have still managed to end up feeling like crap today though...

I hate it when big nights out don't happen. I once had the pleasure of being the sole person turn up to my mates girlfriends weekend plan. There was the three us so we stayed at his in the end. We were supposed to be going over to Liverpool in a massive group (around 10/11 people).

And I have to say, it's cheaper to get over than I thought. I presumed it would still be 1,000+ but then I'm living in the past still.

Yes TopSpurs, hows it going man? I thought that only myself and Yami had remembered that this Board exists.

I've had a phenomenally unproductive day today. Opened one work related email, ballsed about with a spreadsheet, played Pro Evo on my own and played darts on my own. Not good.

I'm here, waiting for Saturday to come around so I can go out and get blotto for my birthday. I ****ing hope it don't snows. Getting to and from Cardiff is bad enough when the weather is good, if it snows I won't be going anywhere.

Oh - you want me to watch my mouth, how?

Good. Spent the last two weeks either in bed - ill - playing FIFA/Madden or chasing people trying to sort out my football coaching and career options. Bored out my skull but still, I hate the work I'm bouncing around doing at the moment so it's lose-lose. Desperately need a night out on the ale which I've been denying myself because of football on Saturdays and Sundays (which have all been called off at the last minute meaning I could've gone out).

But things are on the up, so it's all gravy baby.
