The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
anisotropic 16xAF not working
i bought a new ATI gfx card and it runs quite well in oblivion. did some .ini tweaks of course. using HDR and so on. my problem is now, that i can't get an effect if i activate 16xAF in catalyst control center. it's still the same as i leave this option off. any fix for that? (also tried 2x, 4x, 8x, and some settings in combination no HDR, FSAA and so on, i never get AF working...) *sigh*
same wit me i have ati 4850 , i cant enable AF --- Tom brady=Most overated quarterback of all time GO BILLS!!
is it a driver or ati issue? as i can find absolutely nothing about that regarding to oblivion. everyone seems to be able to enable that option and have an effect. i remember the past, as i got my 7800GS with standard nvidia drivers, i could even force FSAA with HDR ingame enabled. latest catalyst 8.7 doesn't work. any workarounds? maybe rivatuner oder ati tray tools? but i don't want to waste my freshly nice fast running XP SP3 too much.
damn that sucks, i was thinking of picking up an new ati too..
I have a 4850, I can enable AF, etc, fine, HDR gives me something reminiscent of the "nvidia blackscreen bug" though. --- RIG: E4500 (stock), 2.0 GB DDR2 667 G.SKILL RAM, ASUS EAH4850+DuOrb "Naked barbarian vs CTD...win?" ~ xud9dab2
and HOW did you exactly do that? are you sure? maybe you could make some example screenshots :)

You can enable it but it won't work or you can't figure out how to enable it?
ygfbv posted... that is i already knew. i meant difference screenshots between 0xAF and 16xAF... setting that in catalyst has NO effect ingame. do you use any other tools than catalyst?
ygfbv has a fake HDR mod so I don't think he should be helping... =P |
