It worked just fine with my physical version of the game. I got it on Steam yesterday, and I can't get DarN's UI to work. I've extracted the files a million times now, put every folder where it should be, it doesn't work. I did modify the ini for the fonts, it doesn't work. The menus and interface are still horrid.
I've also tried disabling the cloud to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas? --- After a thousand battles one only sees death.

Use Oblivion Mod Manager. It lets you tinker around with the settings as you install them and either one of the fonts is screwed up or when you install both fonts at once it becomes an unholy mess. I'm pretty sure the larger font size is screwed up because IIRC I tried it once and it was black shadow text and almost completely illegible.
TBH you should probably be using something like Wyre Bash to install most mods and using Oblivion Mod Manager to install the few, like DarN UI, that don't play well with Wyre. --- Stop complaining. I could have done this more painfully. - Dryad from Sacred 2.

Cool, I'll check that out, even if I have to say I'm appreciating the bigger icons. --- After a thousand battles one only sees death.
