Ludus lake is the same as Ludi I think.

Just ride the ship from orbis.

Or go up the Helios Tower from Korean Folk Town by taking the elevator.

While on the topic of ludi, has anyone else noticed that ludi looks like hell from "Dante's Inferno"?

No o_o

I find it hard to believe that the deepest level of hell is space aliens and Will Smith.

I said "speaking of ludi" not "speaking of ludus lake".

^ that is hell (from dante's inferno)

^ that is ludus lake, now get rid of the towers that hold it up and the lands on the bottom of the towers.
Anyone else see the resemblance?

Come to think of it there's 9 levels of different monsters too.

1. Brown Teddies
2. Panda teddies
3. Ticks/ticktocks
4. Buffies/Soul Teddies
5. Buffoons/Klocks
6. Ghost Pirates/Death Teddies
7. Vikings/Phantom Watch
8. Gatekeeper/Thanatos
9. Papulatus

and Pap is Satan, apparently.

I'm sure it's just coincidental though. I mean, how else would you depict the clock tower? You can't really have a cube, that's hardly good architecture.

To be honest Zakum and the Cave of Trial maps remind me of hell more than Ludi does due to fact that the lava that's in the Cave of Trial maps would make the place extremely very hot to be inside of.

The 9 levels of the Ludi Toy Factory strikes me as being cold rather than hot and would have more in common with the Futurama version.

IIRC the Robot version on Futurama had 9 levels, was in Cleveland according to the purple haired Leela and was inside a abandoned carnival ride (which we saw when Fry and Leeya went to go and rescue Bender).

Futurama's "Robot Hell" was influenced greatly by Dante's Inferno, and was located in New Jersey.
