How do I get to Aliens in NLC?

Hopefully they're still around. Also, what's the earliest level I should be training there?

You might be a king or a street sweeper, but sooner or later you'll dance with the reaper.

You have to do the Mayor's quests starting at level 90.

Do not attempt to take on the boss unless you have over 9000HP. Seriously. It can do 7k+ damage to you with one hit. I'm not quite certain but it seems like it ignores Magic Guard as well if you're a Magician. I went in there one time on my F/P and it OHKO'd me without doing any damage to my MP.

You don't need to kill the boss to have access to train on the Aliens, you just need to do the quest where you steal the robot thingy and escape.

I know, but once you get involved in a quest line, you feel like finishing it. For me anyway.

It can hit over 10k. It one-hit my Evan too.

Did you happen to notice if it actually does ignore Magic Guard?

I think it just happened to hit enough damage that 85% of my MP wasn't enough to take a hit.

But I'm not sure.

You can fight the boss with any amount of HP. Stand on it's legs and just eat the ~700 hit damage, the invincibility will let you live through the lasers.

That's what I tried. Its hard hit managed to hit me in the short moment I wasn't in invincible frames...
