This may come as a shock to some ppl, but others may not be so surprised if they've already seen other developers doing it in their games. So there I was searching google for help with trying to fix an error that happens when I try to run the game (maybe incompatible with windows 2003 server edition?) and I came across this little doozy of an article.
What sayeth thou?
Also if anyone knows how to get the game running on Windows 2K3 Datacenter Edition I would appreciate it cuz I been wanting to play this game for awhile now. The error that pops up says it can't find some NGClient.aes file when it's already sitting right there in the folder. What do?
just play the game... worry about your sanity afterwards ~riddlebox89
Yeah Nexon a company in South Korea which has Christianity as it's major religion, are a bunch of illuminati devil worshippers... whatever...
I quickly skimmed through the article and it's pretty funny, they act like Edelstein being based off of Germany is such a big surprise and that they are so intelligent for figuring it out, and could the Black Wings be based off... GASP!!!! THE NAZIS????!!!! say it ain't so!!!??? and yeah the game seriously tries to make the Black Wings look like good guys right?
Also they seem to be complaining about the Demons in the game, nevermind the fact that the demons are all heavily fantasized versions of them, that are enemies and not portrayed as being good.
Honestly it's just like with Harry Potter if you are throwing a fit over it being "Satanic" or whatever when it's just freaking fantasy, and Maplestory takes elements of fantasy from all over the world, but that doesn't make Nexon devil worshippers.
Anyways it's all just overreaction.
EDIT: Ok I've read it a bit more, and there is a lot of interesting symbolism that I never noticed, but I still think that they are overreacting, I mean do they seriously think Nexon put the Demon hats in the game to indocrinate children into Satanism? I've already said it but Maplestory takes elements from all sorts of myth and fantasy, but I seriously doubt the people at Nexon believe in any of it, and I doubt even more that they put it into the game to indoctrinate children (Who will probably never notice anyways.) Still the funniest part is how they seem to think the Black Wings/Nazi connection is hidden when it's completely obvious.
