| I saw this mentioned here or there about the DS USB connector. Iwould HIGHLY RECOMMEND just getting a wireless router. I picked one up for about $50 (normally $60). This replaced my current router which was wired. Now, it allows for wireless as well as wired. I think this is better than the DS USB since you can use it for anything else, like PSP and laptops, etc. The DS USB only helps the DS. So for 10 or 20 more, you can have a true wireless network. Also, the ones in stores for DS and PSP are total crap. Worked once, never again, and messed around with my PC until I removed it. So if you need to go WIFI, I would just pick up a wireless router. --- "There's two thousand four hundred and eighty six parts." ::crunch:: "Four eighty five sir." -MST3K |

| my windows firewall is keeping me from getting a connection. this was never a problem before, but i just switched from cable to dsl, so i don't know if that's it or not.
besides turning it off while i play, is there any other way to get around this? i went on nintendowifi and got the ports needed, but i can't find the option to allow all UDP. --- AC:WW - Neesh in Oaktown - 3737-2283-5607 |
