It could be that the access point requires you to enter a password or sign a TOU through a browser.

If that is the case, then your DS and DS Lite will not be able to connect to it. DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS have browsers. Try using one of those to connect.

EDIT:
My DS Lite always got an error message saying that it could not obtain IP Address when trying to connect to the Library's WiFi. My 3DS connects to it fine. If your DS Lite can't connect to it, there's a good chance your 3DS can.

It's my first time posting here and I have a question. I do have a Nintendo USB dongle, but it's not compatible with my current PC. Does anybody use a USB dongle similar to http://tinyurl.com/4xczpfg that they have had success with? I'm trying to figure out my options without getting a new set up.

I also have one problem.

My wifi connection works fine when I'm using a "certain" model of modem to my router.Recently that modem was toasted by short-circuit so I have to replace it with a new one.The problem is that when I try to connect to WFC,it gives me error code 61010.While my other devices work(Laptops,PSP,etc)

I cant get my DS to work on Wifi, any help?

I just bought a japanese copy of Pokemon Black 2 and I tried to connect it to my router but, half way through connecting, the wifi suddenly went red on the ds, although it was fine on my computer. I tried again, and once more, half way through, it stopped working, I also tried it with a different router, and it still stopped working half way through the connecting process. Please Help!!!!!
