i installed the program from the disc then when i try to open the registering tool it says NintendoWFCReg.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. the program doesn't even open. only that window pops up. i disabled my firewall and everything and it didn't work. can anyone help me?

Ranveer0, Firewalls don't prevent the Registration tool from running, but at this point my best advice is to uninstall it and try again. if you still cannot start it, you may have a faulty disk, so you may have to download the program at nintendowifi.com

as for me, i STILL need help with the 52003 error.
it's really getting annoying to the point where i want my money back . . .

ok i have a problem using my inventel router (through wanadoo), when performing an auto search the ds says the security is not compatible, when i set it to manual (and change the router to use WEP and put the wep key in the ds) it says it cannot connect to an access point. I have no idea what to do at all, any help would be greatly appeciated!

Nvm i found the link. when i installed it, it worked then i got that same error code. i uninstalled and reinstalled then i just plugged usb connector and i put my ds right next to it so it could connect. just keep doing that then you will be able to connect hopefully.

Do I need a wireless adapter (one that allows my PC to get internet, not the USB adapter) for my PC or does my DS get a connection directly from the router.
