Case #2, REALLY confused!!

#1Figlar20000Posted 5/18/2010 4:28:06 AM
So I just bought Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and I'm on case 2 which is with the Cough Up Queen that I have to question. Yet the FAQs are saying stuff that is COMPLETELY different than what I'm dealing with.

Is there something wrong with my game or what??

Angel Starr is in the fifth case.

You're doing "Rise from the Ashes", not "Turnabout Sisters".

At the title screen, choose "New Game" and you can select any of the cases that have been completed. Choose "Turnabout Sisters" to do the second case.

Wiiiiiiierd.... why would I get the 5th case though? some sort of glitch? It was a fresh package and I did click new game, and got that case immediately following the one with butz.

When you have cases completed, the game always bumps you to the latest case available.

Wait so was the game Used or New? If it was new then you might have been scammed...
Also did you inserr Gyakuten Saiben 1 in the GBA slot? because that lets you skip the other cases and go right to the last case

Also did you inserr Gyakuten Saiben 1 in the GBA slot?

You really think there's anyone on these boards has the original Gyakuten Saiben carts on GBA?

And just read his post. He thought that Rise from the Ashes was the second case in the game. Only someone who was completely new to the games could make a mistake like that, and you're suggesting that he has the original GBA carts from the early 2000s and had them in the DS at the same time he begins his first playthrough of the series.

Don't over think things so much. The simple answer is that he either borrowed the game from someone who completed it but didn't erase the data or he bought the it used and it had a completed save file.
