What exactly does mirage island depend on to show up? does it use a random number that's pulled out of the seed, or is it an independant system? --- ---Meh

All the random numbers in the game come from the same PRNG. The Mirage Island value is compared against the PVs of the Pokemon in your party (unlike the lottery, which checks against the trainer ID of every Pokemon in your party and PC).

Interesting. Does it check once a day? Say, when you turn your game on first on a cetain day? Or if i changed my party, and one of my pokemon had the right number, would it then show up? --- ---Meh
