No one likes games that don't involve shooting people in the head anymore.

On that note, wana start a revolution? We'll take over the game industry and make only good quality games with good sotrytelling, artfull graphics and solid gameplay. The players will hate it.

i own the game not a big fan of this one. Myst Revelation i thought was much better, the characters in Revelation looked realistic meanwhile the newer characters in End of Ages looked horrible, i had expected better since it was a newer game, but thats just what i thought of the game.
if anyone knows where i might be able to buy Myst Revelation that would be nice

^^ Its still a great game

Nonetheless, this franchise used to have a big following, back when Myst first released this was the PCs killer app. Either way, its all about shooting and cards, youre right. I mean dont get me wrong, those games are great, but please, spice up the formula. And now with the Wii eating up gaming, were not going to get any GOOD variety = (

Don't get me wrong, this was a great game, but it seemed to have a lot missing. A lot of people these days don't play these kinds of games because they don't like to have to think when they're playing. Designing these games also takes a different kind of skill from the developers. You can't compare a shooting game developer to a puzzle-adventure game developer.

I'm a really big fan of the Myst universe and have played all the games and read all the books and I must say that this game really disappointed me... the end was kinda anticlimactic and they don't explain the fact that you aren't the same stranger as with the other games... this game literally needs more storyline and also needs better puzzles... I just completed this game in like 8 hours...
