The best way to describe it that I've come up with is that it's the 3D Castlevania game that we've always wanted. It's an action RPG that is big and obtuse and brutal and incredible. It seriously feels like playing an NES game on modern systems. Both games are probably in my top five of all time now(with the predecessor, Demon's Souls, at or just outside it too).

It's been so long since I've had my OldBox set up that I can't remember exactly how this disc worked. It wasn't really an expansion, right? Didn't it only install these maps to use in Halo 2 for those without Xbox Live or an internet connection?
