Finally finished Main Quest and did Thieves Guild and side quests

Its about all I could take, it felt like I was rushing to beat the game because it became really boring after a while...

I guess Dark Souls spoils you with the other games but that is okay there were some fun moments no doubt.

I never even got to Shivering Isles either but since I got the Game of the Year edition I don't feel AS compelled to beat it.

Shivering Isles is undoubtedly the best part of Oblivion. I suggest you come back to it when you feel like it.

I do agree though, Dark Souls can spoil a lot of games for you. Still, Oblivion is good in a different way I guess but nothing to keep you hooked like Dark Souls.

Yeah and I appreciate all the help you gave over time Drowning, that is not forgotten. I think alot of had to do with the fact I was always so determined to keep my difficulty slider in the middle to make it as close to "normal" difficulty as possible. As a result it became boring because the only real weapon that stood a chance was the enchanted weapon I made that had weakness to magic stacking, all the other weapons were just too weak.
