How hard is it on veteran?

I got 1000/1000 on COD4... Mile High Club was a *****. I finished the Veteran campaign in about a week.

Also, if I pick up the GOTY edition, does it include anything I can't get off the marketplace? Also, does it need to be new? Can I just not pick up a used edition and just use the code or something?

This one is tougher but less cheaper. A.K.A. There won't be guys coming around the corners giving you instant headshots like CoD4 and there is less grenade spam.

GotY gives a DVD behind the scenes and access to a few maps. I would suggest getting it new if you want the GotY edition.

this is my first cod on veteran and ive heard its ungodly hard so im suprised that with a little patience and persistance ive made it up to near the end of the game

This is the hardest Veteran difficulty on all the COD series games but it gives you the best feeling ever when you have finished it =] It's seriously worth the persistence.
