Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Check out the Penny Arcade games. They play like Super Mario RPG (sort of) and are a lot of fun. Just know that it was planned as a series of 4 or 5 games and only the first 2 will ever be made.

Have it.

And Shadow Complex,

Any of games like SOTN, tho?

LIKE it? No - not other than the obvious Shadow Complex.
There is the Castlevania Harmony of Despair - but that's not really an RPG, even though the gameplay itself is very similar to SOTN, the maps are cut into bite sized chunks to work well with multiplayer.
I suppose I could recommend Torchlight. It's made by the same guys that made Diablo, and is overall a pretty decent game. It suffers from a few technical issues - but by and large it is very playable.

Yeah, I have TL and the Lara Croft game.

I'll look into the penny arcade games, though...

There's Outland I suppose. It's a somewhat similar gameplay - and it has some great mechanics of its own.

Yeah I second Outland.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
