The last game you played that you felt...

Was worth its NEW pricetag?

For example, I absolutely loved Shadows of the Damned. I played every second of it with a smile on my face. But I don't think it's worth $60.

The last game I felt was truly worth its initial price was New Vegas, just because of all the hours I sunk into it. I know it was pretty glitchy at first (I encountered a game breaker myself), but I truly feel it's been worth it. Yeah, I could've waited for the price drops (I actually think it's only $10 somewhere new)

So what's the last game you truly felt was worth its initial price tag?

I'll have to go by the few games I actually paid full (Or close to) price for, which isn't a lot.

But I'd say that these games were worth the full price:

Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare - Definitely worth the asking price, even if it was less than for a full retail release.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 - With the amount of multiplayer I've played, I cannot possibly say it wasn't worth the price. Only annoying thing is that it took so long to actually get new maps through the VIP pass (Most of the supposedly new maps were just locked on-disc bull****).

Just Cause 2 - Paid less than full price, but I would easily have paid full. Excellent game, a lot of fun. Lasted quite a while too. Now if only it had co-op, it would have easily contented as the best game ever.

Blazblue Calamity Trigger - Got it for slightly less than full, but definitely would have been willing to pay the full price. Especially considering the fact that I got the Collectors edition. It's just a great game.

I would say the last two titles I purchased LA Noire and Infamous 2 were both worth their pricetag, I very rarely buy games that I don't think are worth it, for instance I bought Portal 2 for 60.00 (also got 20.00 in amazon credit) but felt that game was worth it as well, the story and writing were awesome and me and a buddy had a blast going through co-op

I have a feeling that Rage is going to poo on everything else released this year, long live id!

ive never paid full new retail price on any game this gen. but i would have for dragon age ultimate edition. it is probably one of my top 5 games of all time. i got oblivion used but would have paid full price for it, and picked up fallout 3 after the first price drop and probably would have paid full price for it also had i known how awesome it was gonna be.

will probably make my first two day 1 purchases this year, gears 3 and skyrim are both looking to be amazing games

Going to agree with Mortal Kombat.
