Play and Charge Kit wont charge???

#1uped145Posted 7/8/2011 5:53:03 PM
I left the controller with the kit plugged in to my PC this morning and now I come back 13 hours later and the light is still red. Is it suppose to take this long to charge??? it normally takes me a little over an hour for the light to turn green when plugging it into the Xbox.

Play and charge kit = crap

It's known to fail with many users.

Get yourselft he quickcharge kit instead, or a set of rechargable Energizer batteries.

Are you sure it's not fully charged?

My indicator light is broken. It turns green and red all the time when it's charging. After an hour I just take it off and the battery indicator shows it's fully charged.

If you read about the play and charge kit, you will find out that the indicator light is the first thing to break and that's okay because it's still charges the battery, it's just the light that broken.

Really? People have play and charge kit failures?

I've got 6 kits and all of the cords work. The packs die long before that cord does, if you take care of it.

Here you go. A link of amazon reviews about the play and charge kit. I read some and a lot of people say the same thing. I agree with them. I also have the quick charge station, which is way better.

Wow, I really wasn't aware of that. I wonder if any of my packs are actually still good...

I've never plugged in my quickcharge station.

For a long time I thought I was the only one. Then a few more people here at gamefas had the same thing happen. Batteries turn out to be fine if you use the Quick charge.
