and get the new slim kinect 250 gig?some games are already not playing i would put the game in and sometimes it would read as dvd and not load.i wonder if gamestop would buy it still?

Sell it on eBay. Elites still go for quite a bit.

really? what should i list it as,it plays sometimes but sometimes it dont.

Yeah you could say that. Put in it will need to be repaired very soon. If everything else works fine, you should be able to get at least $50 for the console only, more if you're including cables. If you take it to Gamestop and they have problems while testing, they won't take it. eBay's your best option.
