What JRPGs am I missing for the 360?

#1blue_manPosted 7/16/2011 4:56:39 AM(edited)
So far I have

Star Ocean 4
FF13
Operation Darkness
Enchanted Arms
Nier (I think that counts)
Eternal Sonata
Tales of Vesperia
Magna Carta 2
Lost Odyssey
Blue Dragon
The Last Remant
Infinite Undiscovery

I know I'm missing Resonance of Fate but are there any others?

Not sure, but Resonance of Fate is pretty cool. I have it, and I'm pretty over JRPG's these days. So for me to like it, it's got to be something pretty cool. It's not for everyone though, that's for sure as well.

Well I've borrowed the PS3 version and thought it was kinda cool, it's more for collection purposes though. But I do enjoy playing them.

"it's more for collection purposes though. But I do enjoy playing them."

I'm not trying to be mean, but I've never understood this.
Videogames are meant to be played, that's their entire purpose. To get games to collect them just seems pointless to me.
I guess it's all in the mindset though.

You say that but why do some games have collector's editions. I only collect games I like for example back when the PAL ToV was rare I had that kept because it was hard to find. Loved the game to bits though.

"You say that but why do some games have collector's editions"

Are you asking that seriously?!?
It's about MONEY.
Companies know that they can spend a little more in production costs, put out a 'collector's edition' and sell it for 10-20 more dollars, and enough people will buy them up.
It's the same with movies, why do SO many of them say 'special edition'? So that they sound more interesting than they actually are. :)
Don't get me wrong, I like SOME collector's editions of games, but only ones where I REALLY love the series AND I want the extra stuff, like the Mass Effect games. I'm a little bummed that the Uncharted 3 collector's does nothing for me, but my wallet is VERY happy.

Record of Agarest War and Record of Agarest War Zero.

Not perfect by any means, but still enjoyable if you can get past the ridiculous amounts of battles in between events.

Ah yeah, I got the first one on PS3. I may import both of them for 360 when I have to money to do so.
