Well a friend called and offered me one of his 360s for free. It works fine except for the network adapter, so no online.

I'm looking for exclusives (i have a ps3) that are good offline.

I'm already planning to get Mass Effect 1 and 2, but can't think of anything else. I wanted left4dead but that is mainly online. Do the Halos and Gears of Wars have a decent single player, or is it like COD where the main focus is online multiplayer?

I'm open for suggestions and I like to play all types of games.

If I get into playing the xbox, I'll look into getting a wireless adapter and seeing if I can get it hooked up to Live that way.

Thanks in advance.

gears is fun it has horde mode which can be played with bots for single players.

Gears of War 1 and 2 have very solid campaigns, either single player or 2 player co-op. Definitely worth checking them out, especially with Gears 3 around the corner!

I hear you can use your computer instead of the buying a network adapter to play on online. Not sure how but that's what I hear.

Gears and Halo both have pretty solid SP IMO. Lots of offline co-op and replayability with both series as well.

Yes, there's multiple ways to access Live. Personally, I'd use one of them so as to not be limited in my choice of games.

Cant you just plug in an ethernet cable? Or get some of those powerline adaptors if you dont want to run a cable to your hub. A 360 without Live is barely a 360 to me.
If you don't like Giantbomb then I don't like you, isn't that right Zach?

If you have high speed internet then you really need to look at your options for connecting your XBox. Even if you don't like to play games online, access to the arcade is a must.
Relax, it's just a game.

Ah thanks for the tips. Had no idea you could connect to the internet like that. I'll try bridging it to my laptop.

So....what exactly is wrong with this 360? Is it a slim and the guy things the internal WIFI is broke? Because if it's the wired ethernet port then you can't do the bridging through a laptop thing.
I live in a constant state of Deja Vu. Didn't I mention this once before?
