Gears of War 2, probably.

The other team was using just about every "cheap" method in the book, and killing everybody on my team as a result. So, I used smoke grenades and guerrila warfare to catch the enemies off guard and take them out one by one. I clutched that entire match. I was so happy :D

I have a terrible memory, so, I can't really think up anything better than that.

Red Dead Redemption

Just an epic game. Darn near perfect execution. The environment was jaw dropping. Being a fan of westerns, it just blew my mind. Like watching the best parts of every western I had ever seen rolled into one neat package.

Mass Effect 1&2

In my opinion a better universe than Star Wars. Great big games that doe just about everything right. Seeing the human reaper at the end and getting that nostalgic feeling back to SuperContra!! Aw man!

Bioshock

This game has massive amounts of atmosphere and has actually convinced me that an underwater city could actually work. It's so gloomy and has that awesome 50's feel. The story is among the best and the twist is unbelievable. Also, plasmids rock!

GTA4: Ballad of Gay Tony

cutscene where luis is banging this random chick in the bathroom:

Luis: "say my name! say my name B@#ch~!

girl:" I... I donno! I donno!"

haha, that part made me laugh

--Leaving your home village in Zelda OoT for the first time.
--Turok, just random gameplay moments of such an epic console FPS
--Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider 2, feeling the epic largeness of the caverns.
--getting so good at Madden 64 with my friend where the last two minutes of the game would yield about 35 more points for each of us becase we'd get nuts with audibles and hot routes. .
--Goldeneye, completing the speed challanges for some of the unlockables. And opening sequecne with the overhead view of the dam, then zooming into FPS view.
--COD3 clan action with the awesome COD3 360 community.
--Taking down an AT-AT for the first time in Shadows of the Empire.
--H.E.R.O. on the 2600. And Adventure. And Pitfall 2. Those games gave the most sense of exploration and caverns and all that.
--Turning into a bat for the first time in Casltevania
-- Star Fox and Star Fox 64. every single moment of both games.
--cursing the lack of an option for inverted controls in Lawnmower Man
--Flashback and Out of this World in all their cyberpunk glory
