I got RROD a while back, pretty sure 3 rings. Kept freezing, and glitching up, then rings would appear. I tried it again after 5 months. Game would play for 2 minutes then glitch and freeze but the rings would never appear. All of my AV cables are in right. My friend thinks I might need to buy new AV cables since the ring hasn't appeared in months. But i think my hard drive is busted and I probably need to get a new xbox, or pay 100$ to get it repaired. The warranty is up so i I cant be free.

So, hard drive issue? Or hardware?

1)Take hard drive off
2)Play a game

If the game works your hard drive is busted.

No need to get like that...I wasn't sure. Im not a professional or anything. I thought it could be the hardware too.

Still glitched even after I took the hard drive out. So is it the hardware?
