MestizoFreakPosted 9/10/2011 1:56:28 PM | I'm planning on getting a bigger hard drive. A few questions:
1. Would I be able to just transfer my game saves and gamertag via USB flash drive, and still be able to download the stuff I purchased before free?
2. Would the new hard drive work on an old 360 model?
3. If I buy a used hard drive, should I be worried of a "hard drive ban"? |
Link43130Posted 9/10/2011 1:58:35 PM | 1) Yes. 2) Not if it's designed for the slim. Technically you can make a case for it out of foam, but out of the box no, it won't work. 3) Kinda? MS has said that they can/will ban for using Third Party Harddrives but they never have in the past. It's your call. --- Steam/XBL/PSN: Link43130

2. No, the new "slim" model has a new design for the hard drive.
3. I doubt you'll be banned for buying a hard drive. --- Gamertag / PSN / Steam - GodlyGiBBson |
