How do I run my 360 in True DMZ mode? This router/modem is annoying.

On my old router it works just fine.

On this one I got from my new internet, it sticks NAT in moderate. I want to do a True DMZ thingy but I can't find the 360 IP address.

Any suggestions?

I would start by getting the router's latest firmware, just to start out with the most up to date firmware.

Do you have DSL? If you have DSL the first thing you want to do is put the router in PPPoE mode and the modem should be in bridged mode.

Next, if you want to put the IP address in the DMZ, I suggest reserving the IP address in the router's settings, usually in the DHCP area of the router. Don't make a manual IP address on the 360 itself. If your router doesn't support that, then you definitltey shouldn't make it manually on the 360 itself, instead you can turn up the lease time, in the DHCP settings.

next, you can go ahead and put the IP address in the DMZ.
