-Veltro will play a big role in the game. - Revelations' plot is fundamental to understand BH6's story. - Leon and Jill will playable/present in the game. - More returning characters set to make an appearance. - Ada will play a major role. - Camera angles and classic enemies returning. - Game Informer and PSM will have articles about the game somewhere during this Fall.
So happy about the bolded. RE will finally return to its former glory. So long RE4/5 action shooter.
Oh come on, not pre-rendered camera crap. Why? Just to shut the whiners up? Dammit, it's bad enough that SH: Downpour is forcing in some areas with fixed cameras, but why RE6, too? Maybe I'm in the minority, maybe most people love not being able to control their camera, but dammit, this bugs me. It was fine when it was a necessity and plenty of games have been great despite it, but I refuse to believe that people genuinely think the likes of classic RE, Fatal Frame, SH1/2/3, and the like were scary BECAUSE of the crappy camera angles.

I believe it to be 100% true. But they were awesome not crappy. So hyped!!!!!!

I hope it has tank controls, too. --- The Official Hope's Pants of the Final Fantasy XIII-2 board.

I just hope it is more 4 and less 5. 5 sucked so much. --- So...Manos: The Hands of Fate? Manos: The Hands of Fate.

So not being able to see crap and being forced to adjust your controls three different times while walking through a room = Scary? Yeah, no. Cameras don't make games scary. If Echo Night can be creepy in the first person, Resident Evil can be scary without shoving the camera into the corner of a room and making you steer your character like a tank.
The camera angles are what made RE scary. You cant capture the same sense of tension or suspense with a free camera or over the shoulder. This translates to film as well. Some of the scariest movies have particular camera angles that only let you see so much. A zombie running by in the corner of the screen is going to be a lot more frightening than one just running right in front of you

nightmare house and amnesia shows how a game can be scary without the garbage re1,2,3 camera --- "In the real world you're just a ***** with a keyboard." GT:GodMode XIII
