how come the date/time resets when you unplug your xbox 360? I hate this

I love the xbox 360 and Microsoft, but I hate how it never tells me the date and time, only november 2005. I never go on xbox live and my xbox 360 gets unplugged a lot since my mom vacuums and always unplugs it which resets it.

Is there a way to make the date/time stay current w/o going online? It bugs me.

find a new plug so your mom doesn't need to unplug it to vaccum.

or vaccum your own room?

nope can't be avoided mate, like a microwave, once unplug it's reset. I don't think it has an internal battery system.

I know this is a troll topic, but nonetheless, there isn't an internal battery.
