HMV are doing a "trade in Dead Island and get GoW 3 for £1.99" deal, so should i get it just for the price?

What did you not enjoy about the previous games? I'd advise against it, if you didn't like the overall gameplay of the previous games.

Gears 3 does add a lot of new things, but the core gameplay is still the same.

if you never really liked it, i don't see the point, unless you're hoping to resell and make a quick buck

It is A LOT better than GoW 2, so yes, I would.

Do you like dead island? If I were you I would just wait for gears to drop. Plus there is plenty of other games on the horizon.

i enjoyed DI a lot, and im waiting on BF3.

This one leans towards more of a flight sim than anything else, so I'd say go for it.
