how does loading a game from the flashdrive work?

Not sure what you're asking. When you install a game from disc it prompts you to pick a storage device. You can chose either the HDD or your flash drives.

If you' re downloading DLC I think it asks you where to store, or else you could always move it later.

examples.

Loading a whole game (dvd 6.8gb)?

Loading Arcade games (ranges)?

Putting extra contect such as DLC Maps, Forza Car Packs, Dragon age disk 2 with all dlc and extra games, etc.?

Game saves i dont worry about because they are sooooo tiny.

edit.

I was thinking about buying two since I am using a 60gb hd and I am limited to about 3 games but with forza 4 having an install disk for cars, I need more room considering some arcade games I have are over a gig!

I've got a compatible one right now, its just too small(2Gb). It works just like its on the HDD. I've used a larger one and you can even install games to it(not copy though).

The only reason I am searching is the size thing. Looking for a 16GB that I can carry around on my necklace that I can split partition and use for other files as well.
I would take a 8GB as well I suppose but experience has told me that when I can, take the larger memory in anything.

Mine swivels, had no cap and is the generic brand of the local grocery store from the section that sells batteries.

Works fantastic and comes with fashionable bathtub-plug bangle that could double as a keychain should you care to show it off.

It 'fits,' the same way all usb devices fit into the usb ports they're designed for so if that was a concern, fear not!

will there be loss of speed in loading compared to the actual hdd? If its not really noticeable, then I dont care and I would buy one. If its longer loading then without the cd, then that is a concern.

This is the one I own BTW and if all you have is a profile and a few file saves/DLC, I reccommend this one! Tough as hell and meets the speed requirements

Yes. Not much though. Still faster than loading from DVD.

I did some tests, it's in the link in my first post in the topic.

Writing to the thing is much slower than writing to HDD though.
