go get a REPUTABLE 4 gig 8 gig 16 gig ( no higher than 16 gig for a usb) will work. i say reputable because it will not let you use crap ones, that do not meet minumum requirements. i use a kingston or lexar, and it works fine, i DO have to tell you that your xbox when you turn it on, may need to have the usb stick REINSERTED into the front in order for it to read the games and info. i called microsoft and i figured this out on my own that it appeared to not work, but in reality i just had to reinsert the stick.
if there are any other questions you have just PM me.

It can be higher than 16GB, just if it's higher than 16 only 16 will be used for the 360, but you can use say, a 500GB USB HDD and set up a custom 16GB for use as a 360 memory unit, then the rest of the HDD for your media or whatever.
