The difference between Component and HDMI is small, but generally HDMI is a little better. --- Milk-a-whaaaaaaaaa!?

Yeah it depends what your running now. If your using component with the HD switch flipped then the difference is minor. If your using composite cables with the SD switch flipped then it's a huge difference.
Are you using a component cable? or just the regular av one it came with?

On the HD cables that come with the 360 (at least the model I had) there is a switch on the side of the plug that switches Between SD and HD. The switch is located on the end that plugs into the Xbox 360.

In case you don't know the difference between composite and component.
Composite: Yellow, White, Red
Component: Green, Blue, Red, White, Red
Only the component cables are high quality and capable of HD. --- Milk-a-whaaaaaaaaa!?
