I see that walmart is selling the xbox 360 with kinect for 199.99 on black friday, with a 50 dollar walmart gift card. My question is, can I just buy the bundle today, then go back and price match it on black friday and get the gift card with it? I don't want to wait on line black friday.

Nope, they can't refund the difference for you. The merchandise they receive receive for black friday is set up a little differently. If you want to save on your purchase, you are going to have to wait in line like everybody else. Sorry.

Can you elaborate more on what you mean by "set up differently"? The bundle they show in the ad is exactly the same one that is available now, right? The only difference being that you get a free gift card with the purchase.

That's my question, only I want to know if they will give you the gift card. Technically, if they are honoring their own ad, they would have to. I do it with games and controllers every year, buy them a week before, then go back and get the lower price. I'm just unsure about the gift card.

No. They'll have all BF items marked into their systems a certain way or it's just basically what's on the floor is what gets the BF deal. So, what you see is what you get. Obviously, they have more items in the back, but those would not be included in the BF sales. If you did that, your items would basically become shelved into the back area, even though it's still in front of you. Plus, you couldn't say anything, since they could just escort you off the premises or call the police, since they would know what you were trying to do. Plus, you would need a reason to return it. If you said "Well, I decided I didn't want it," they would take it back as long as it was unopened and that would be the end of it. If you tried the "it's broken" route, they would simply tell you to get another one, but they wouldn't discount the price.

But this is false. I know this, because every year I see a BF deal on an item (lets say a videogame), I buy it a week in advance, then just stroll back into walmart on black friday and get it for the discounted price, according to whatever ad has the deal.

If you did that, your items would basically become shelved into the back area, even though it's still in front of you.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here, please excuse my lack of comprehension. Are you saying that if I returned the 360, it would be put in the back area? But i'm not returning it...i'm bringing it back to get the BF difference as it is stated in the ad.

Plus, you couldn't say anything, since they could just escort you off the premises or call the police, since they would know what you were trying to do. Plus, you would need a reason to return it. My reason would be that I want to exchange my unopened system that I bought (from them) for the deal they are offering on black friday. The worst thing that could happen is I end up returning it and getting all my money back.

Laugh at me, why? Because I can just return it and get all my money back regardless? It's not like I have anything to lose. I've been doing this for years on black friday. I just want a good reason why they wouldn't give me the gift card with it.
