Can my Xbox 360 Slim play Blu Ray dvds?

On the off chance that this isn't a joke/troll topic:

They're not "Blu Ray dvds." Blu-ray and DVD are two entirely different formats.

The 360 has a DVD drive, not a Blu-ray drive. No, it cannot read Blu-rays.

I am 110% sure I once put a bluray into my SNES and it played....

I gently tapped the disc into the cartridge slot with a hammer.

^I agree a hammer may have chipped the disc, a rubber mallet should be used to gently tap bluray discs into cartridge slots to avoid voiding any active warranties
