The new one is Conviction. Double Agent wasn't very good, no. I did like the original Xbox version, though.

Yeah, I don't like it that much either. I played it on the PC a few years ago and due to my own drought of games at the time, managed to get through it, but that's about the only reason.

Trivia: The PS3 version runs at less than 20 fps. not joking

SPOILERS:

My favourite bit and most gut wrenching was when I was forced to decide to shoot the hostage I will not name. What to do?

I can read your minds what little there is. I know what all humans think. Nothing's changed in 1800 years. You can't be saved. -Orochi, KOF97

I was completely turned off by the copy/paste level idea for half the freaking game, the analog stick mini-games to start levels, and that annoying hassle that is the meter.

Ubisoft Shanghai made an annoying game, not the old intense/fun SC game.

Plus, it's all trial and error.

All sorts of improvements have been made to level design, AI, gameplay mechanics (which are simplified yet still require skill), and a meaningful storyline punctuated with directed moments. While some may argue the point, the new Mercs Vs. Spies mode is good fun and should prove to have legs on Xbox Live.

I came for the single-player, which I liked rather than loved, and stayed for the multiplayer, which I used to like and now adore. I have a feeling many other fans will feel the same way.

Kids these days.
